| The rumours have been around for months - including an early report in Pilot - and now it's confirmed. Piper is marketing the SportCruiser as the PiperSport. We ran a full flight test in Pilot on the LSA version of this low-wing, Rotax-powered kitplane in our August edition, and it's clear that Piper has made few, if any changes to it since then. We were very impressed with it.
One obvious change is to the colour scheme. Be sure to buy the March edition of Pilot for a full comparison between Piper and Cessna's LSAs, written by one of the few journalists to have flown both. |
