28/09/2010, 12:03 PM Alladin Joined on 28/09/2010 Posts 2 Can I start CPL training at 48's BD Hello all, first I know many will think I am crazy but I love flying and just can't see myself in anything else, I've got my PPL when I was 37 years Old, for the last 10 years I worked in different jobs in many countries around the world to complete my training and obtaining a CPL/IR but the high cost of training stopped me to achieve my goal but this did not changed my mind about completing my training to obtain a CPL/IR, I just love to fly, it's not a target for me anymore to fly Jets or becoming a first officer with an airline although I won't turn it down if it is been offered to me, I want to obtain a CPL to fly commercially in small turboprop or even single engine aircrafts in Africa and if I managed to do so I will be the happiest person on earth, I am strong believer and I never loos hope and welling to study and work hard if I managed to join a flying school next year, so will you guys give me feedback on what I am planning to do? Its your money, spend it as you will. Mind you, if it's NOT your money and you intend borrowing...I'd recommend you simply use a lot less money and buy yourself a nice aeroplane! You'll have just as much fun and a lot more to show for it. David    Report
