All readers please note - way back last July I subscribed to Pilot Magazine. A great offer with a Pooley's Airfield guide as a free gift. However after almost 2 months I started to get the magazine, but no gift. Several telephone an email queries reassured me that it had been sent. Then another was 'despatched' but still it never arrived. I have now been ringing several times to try and get a refund and even that isn't happening. Amazon can deliver these guides the next day - how come Archant (Pilot's owners) are so useless and really don't seem to care about customers. I've passed the message round my flying club and maybe you should too. DON"T GET RIPPED OFF like I've been.
I've just taken over as Group Editor on Pilot and seen Pete's post; it certainly shouldn't have happened and I'm checking with him whether the lost guide was eventually delivered.It shouldn't happen, but if anyone has a similar problem please don't hesitate to get in touch with us in editorial, the number is in the magazine, and we'll put it right.
