Flight Attitude
Hi Guys
flight attitude is orientation of an air plane axes relative to a reference to the horizon but how would you describe in simple way or layman terms and is my question inane or brain dead.

Re: Flight Attitude
The aircraft flies within 3 main axes.
These are Pitch, Roll and Yaw.
Pitch is like nodding.
Roll is like tilting your head from side to side.
Yaw is like sitting on a computer chair and twisting it left and right.
A combination of these makes up an aircraft in flight.
I am out of time this evening, but hopefully that puts it into a basic analogy!
