Hi , i all i can say is i think theyre going to stop using non directional beacons in the near future, unsure if thats true but if it is its proberly not worth installing an adf as it operates on the ndb, maybe wrong? sorry cant help with rest

You need to talk to a licenced avionics engineer but basically if you are simply replacing what's already there it should present no problems. If you are fitting something that wasn't there before you will need a "minor mod". It's always possible that an existing approval exists for the fitment, your engineer will be able to help with this. Bottom line is it's going to cost you big time, the savings you make on buying from the USA will pail into insignificance. And don't forget if do buy from the states you could well be clobbered for import duty and VAT. Also if you buy and get a dud what are you going to do with it? send it back for a refund, I doubt it. Be very careful!
