we currently have the cheapest "TRUE all inclusive" PPL pack in the country, full time 6 / 8 week ppl no problem and can continue right on to commercial training after.
not 100% guarantee price match promise but we haven't had one we could not match so far.
I'm based at Manchester airport so giving training there myself would be handy but alas I have to travel to Liverpool to instruct as they kicked us out a while ago but is just 40 mins for me.
The debate or Liverpool vs barton is a long one, Barton has a good club house and local, Liverpool has nice big tarmac runway, big jets around to get used to and 24/7 ops. Liverpool is also very competitive at £96 per hour all incl.
Go down in person and see who looks after you the best and what you think of each one is a good way to make your own mind up as some of the forum posts may be one off good / bad experinces.
hi steve, i passed my nppl at liverpool not too long ago, i can highly recomend lomac aviation, they are a reletively new club, have excellent aircraft (7 i think now) and a cracker atmosphere, we have a mixed bunch of pilots who give all the advice you will need , including ex commercial. give neil (chief instructor) a call on 01519071414,
mick brown.
p.s. they are also the cheapest

arr I forgot to mention the warning of watch for the OTT Glowing recommendations with no constructive advice from users with few or no other posts, who are often (but not always) some less scrupulous schools blatant ploys for custom with invented recommendations (even if the spelling / english is atrocious lol)
Especially when they even refer to 'we have'

LOL
Maybe 'Mick' can also ask them to update their price list, as if they are the cheapest then they won't want customers going elsewhere based on their published training rate of £130 per hour being full £34 extra per hour more than the ACTUAL cheapest rate at Liverpool of £96 (£1530 over a full PPL) hmmm :)
