Hello, in Spain it usually takes between 3 and 6 months, I think there isn´t any accelated course, if some school promises less than 3 months I think lies. If she starts in August her first exams will probably be in November because exams are in February, May, September and November. The price goes from 5000 to 8000 euros depending of the school. Are you looking for a school in any city or do you preffer some special zone?
Try www.pilotacademy.eu , mail Head Training ht@pilotacademy.eu 4 weeks of acc training after you have finished the PPL theory ex. EUR 7900 incl CBT training / books
I just saw your post and thought I´d let you know that I am based in Spain and I recently did my PPL with a great school called Aerolink, at Sabadell airport, near Barcelona, Spain (so you are in a great city with beaches etc). They have English speaking instructors there and the facility is very good and the people are friendly.
They use Katanas, which I was a bit weary of since I had a few lessons in the UK in Pipers and the Katanas are very light, but in the end it´s a really easy plane to fly.
It took me about 3 months and the cost was about € 6,500 for everything, without any hidden extras, which was really nice.
Their website is www.aerolink.es (need to click on English version) and their number is 0034 902 14 14 24.
Hope that helps.

PS tell them I recommended you and they might give me some free flying time!
4-5 weeks in Madrid with a Uk company called Campbell Flight Services under the new EASA rules which supercedes everything very soon. http://www.campbellflight.com/ starting about 5000 euros. Good British instructors and much cheaper than flyinspain - which I honestly wish I never went to after the steep prices, landing fees and seemingly non caring attitude. (Just my opinion, of course).
